LATE matchman Dave Coster made up for lost time by weighing in a tremendous 20lb 1oz bag of roach and taking first place in Sunday's Gloucester Park Open.
Coster arrived at his local Basildon venue more than half-an-hour after the rest of the anglers had walked off, giving him the last choice of pegs.
He settled on the incoming sluice area of the cockle bank, but still hadn't got his tackle set up when the horn signalled the beginning of the match.
