Pupils-turned-critics from Holland Park Primary School have helped to decide what is the top book for children this year.
Two classes from the Holland Road school were selected to make up a judging panel of 150 classes nationwide.
The Year 4 class chose The Whisperer by Nick Butterworth and the 10 and 11-year-olds from class 6L picked I, Coriander by Sally Gardner.
Their votes will help decide who wins the Nestle Children's Book Prize, which is announced on December 14.
