More than 150 people travelled from Norfolk, Suffolk, Sussex and all over Essex to contest the event, which was presented by the Perris Field Club.
There were 26 individual class winners in total, with the competitor with the most number of points declared the winner.
Archers fired at 34 targets set up in woods, across fields, water-filled ditches and a lake, using longbow, recurve or compound bows. The competition, which has now been running for 12 years, is usually held every six weeks.
Braintree Bowmen are now back at their winter quarters on Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings, at the Halstead Leisure Centre.
Visiting archers who hold GNAS insurance are welcome for a small green fee and beginners' course are available.
