A TALENTED squad of 13 Runnymede swimmers certainly weren't unlucky for the club when they travelled to Maidstone to compete in their first ever level two licensed open meet.
They all had an excellent gala, winning a superb tally of 18 top three medals between them.
Alex Delicata, who was in excellent form throughout the day, took two gold medals in the 11 years boys' 50 fly and backstroke events and then went on to win the silver in the 50 breaststroke and freestyle.
