A business breakfast group in Burnham-on-crouch is reporting great success after just three meetings over the cornflakes.

"Members have been reporting some very positive business transactions since the first meeting," said Colin Kirby, chairman of the Burnham Business Breakfast (BBB) group who represents his own company Offsite Creative.

Mr Kirby commented: "Our landscape gardener, accountant and mortgage consultant have all gained new customers directly from the meeting while other members have received referrals to their businesses from other members."

Over 15 local businesses have joined the BBB group and it is hoped other local firms will visit the group as guests to gain an understanding of the benefits early morning networking can bring.

"We have been really lucky to attract some outstanding business people to the group," said Simone Robinson of local charity InterAct.

The group meets twice a month at the Railway Hotel in Station Road, Burnham-on-crouch. More information from Simone Robinson 01245 608250.
