BASILDON'S Crossroads charity was holding its last ever carers information day at the Pitsea Leisure Centre today.
The charity, which is set to close at the end of January due to a lack of funding, will offer all kinds of information on the variety of respite and other support available to carers who look after friends and loved ones in their own home.
The event, being held to mark Carers' Rights Day which is tomorrow, has been backed by Billericay and district MP John Baron.
