LEGENDARY band The Fall will play a gig in Southend.
Fans of the group, led by Mark E Smith, have been warned to buy their tickets as soon as possible because most have been sold already despite confirmation for the show only coming yesterday.
Southend music promoter and fan Martin Sim was delighted the band agreed to play at seafront venue, Chinnery's, in Marine Parade, Southend.
He said: "I have been e-mailing the band's website every couple of days for a few months now. I did not hear anything back for a long time, but after all these months they ended up coming back to me."
The show will be at 8pm on Friday, January 20.
Tickets cost £15 and are available from Chinnery's; PMT music shop in Queens Road, Southend; Fives in Broadway, Leigh and High Street, Rayleigh; and at Maple Studios in Grainger Road, Southend.
