HOCKLEY Police are on a roll now that they have been given two free bikes to help them in their job.
Hockley Chamber of Trade decided to donate the bikes, worth £180, to the two local police community support officers after reading in the Echo about how a police officer had used a mountain bike to catch a mini-motorbike tearaway.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "It's extremely encouraging members of the local community are helping the police in this way."
