A railway clean-up squad is to move in to tidy up a vandal-hit seaside station.
It follows pleas by commuters, residents and councillors at Frinton.
Graffiti is also to be cleaned off a nearby railway bridge on the line to Walton.
The Network Rail team arrives tomorrow and the work is expected to take two days.
"We have arranged for workers to do a complete sweep of the station area removing litter, vegetation and graffiti to improve the station environment," said a spokesman.
Community heads have long complained about the general state of the potentially attractive, traditional seaside station.
