He took his sleigh to Saxon Drive and Armond Road last night with his helpers, members of the Witham Rotary Club, who have co-ordinated his visit to the town for more than 40 years.
The tour lasts until December 17. Both Father Christmas and the Rotary Club hope to raise lots of money for good causes around Witham.
Tonight they will be in the Church Street area from 6.15pm. After that they will be at Rickstones Road on Thursday; Newland Street on Saturday; the Grove estate on Sunday; Maidment Crescent and Howbridge Road on December 12; Pondholton Drive on December 13; Augustus Way on December 15 and Newland Street on December 17.
He will be at each street from 6.15pm, except for the two Saturdays at Newland Street, when he will arrive at 10am.
