Last year's year six pupils at Prettygate Junior School, in Plume Avenue, Colchester, were chosen for the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Award because of their inspirational work in developing the school's play leader scheme.
They also took part in the Department for Education and Skills' national anti-bullying video.
Headteacher Barry Hawes said two pupils also spoke at a regional anti-bullying conference.
Mr Hawes has written to each of the 64 pupils involved, who have now moved to secondary schools, to tell them the good news and give them all a copy of the certificate.
Now the school is building on the work started by the former pupils.
