SOUTHEND United players might show there is an art to football, but they have now inspired Shoebury pupils to create portraits of them.
Fifteen pupils at Hinguar Junior School painted pictures of Blues players as part of a ten-week programme at the club's study support centre.
The pupils were helped with the portraits by two fine arts students at South East Essex College, Danny Chaplin, from Leigh, and Emma Mower, from Southend.
