Police will today seek to get a crack house closure on a Colchester home.
Officers nailed a warning notice on the front of Nicholsons Grove, off East Hill, yesterday.
The premises was raided last month as part of a drive to stamp out the supply of Class A drugs in the town.
Sgt Mick Sharp of the central policing team, said: "Following the closure notice an application for a closure order will be sought from the judge."
The application will be made at Colchester Magistrates' Court.
The initial search warrant was executed following information received by officers. A 37-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of allowing her premises to be used for the supply of crack-cocaine.
She was released on police bail until January.
