ONE of Leigh's landmark buildings will be going under the hammer next week.
John Stacey and Sons Auction Rooms, in Pall Mall, has been put up for sale and is expected to fetch about £300,000.
The building has been empty since the family-run business closed in July, after three generations of Staceys had been trading there for 40 years.
The rooms are located in the centre of Leigh and are expected to be sold for flats or houses.
