The generous GP is taking 14 employees from his surgery in Old Road.
They will enjoy a two-night stay in a hotel in Bratislava and will also be taken on a day trip to Vienna.
The entire break, which will cost several thousand pounds, is being funded by the doctor.
Staff only have to take their spending money.
Office manager Sue Gurry said they could hardly believe their luck.
"It is quite amazing," she said.
"We get bonuses and taken out for a meal each Christmas but this is an incredible gesture."
