FANS are going to be running to the Regent for tickets with the announcement Canadian rocker Bryan Adams is set to play there later this year.
His Bare Bones Tour is exactly that, a short exclusive set of dates which will see gigs in Bradford, Stoke, Birmingham, Salford, Gateshead, Glasgow and Ipswich.
As Canada’s best-known ambassador, Bryan Adams has spent the past three decades making music history.
He has sold more than 65 million records, toured six continents and achieved number one status in more than 40 countries around the world.
With hits like, Cuts Like A Knife, Summer of ’69, Kids Wanna Rock, Can’t Stop This Thing We’ve Started, (Everything I Do) I Do It For You, Open Road and most recently Thought I’d Seen Everything, Bryan’s status as one of the great songwriter’s of our time is in little doubt.
He has been awarded the Order of Canada and in 2006 was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame at the Juno Awards in Halifax.
He has also been nominated for Academy Awards, Golden Globes and Grammys and last year his handprint was added to the Wembley Square of Fame in celebration of his 25th show at the famed stadium.
He’s returning to the UK in October with his critically-acclaimed solo-acoustic concert tour, providing a more intimate, up close and personal side of the musician.
Tickets for the Ipswich Regent gig on October 16 are £50 plus booking fee, available by calling the box office on 01473 433100 or online at www.ipswichregent.com
