A FAMILY was made homeless after fire ripped through the upstairs of their home.
The blaze broke out in the bathroom of the property in East Street, Coggeshall, at about 11am today.
Firefighters from Coggeshall and Braintree rushed to the scene but could not stop the blaze spreading to the roof of the house.
The family now intend to stay with relatives while their home is repaired.
