THREE men have been banned from Tendring for public disorder.
Charges for hare coursing at St Osyth were dropped against James Eastwood, 31, James Baker, 26, and Jae Shotter, 27, by Colchester Magistrates’ Court.
Instead, the trio, who come from London, admitted behaving in a disorderly manner at the seaside resort on April 3.
The court heard Eastwood and Baker had been staying at Seawick Holiday Park, in Beach Road, over the Easter weekend when they met up with Shotter.
The men were walking a Labradoodle and a mongrel when they were accused of hunting hares.
They each denied one charge of hare coursing, but accepted their behaviour caused members of the public to be alarmed and distressed.
They were each fined £250 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
Shotter was also banned from driving for six months.
District judge David Cooper said: “It’s up to you to find out the borders of the district and keep out of it. I’m not here to give you a geography lesson.”
