THREE men will appear in court this morning charged with robbery.
The trio were charged following an incident at Open All Hours, in Ipswich Road, Colchester, on Sunday.
John Dyer, 53, suffered cuts to his head, arm and leg after a man with a knife stole a small amount of cash.
His injuries were not life threatening.
Joshua Joyce, 18, of Harwich Road, Great Bromley, Benjamin Tower, 31, of Pondfield Road, Colchester, and Roy Robertson, 49, of Crompton Road, Colchester, were yesterday all charged with one count of robbery and one count of conspiracy to commit robbery.
They were remanded in police custody to appear before magistrates in Colchester this morning.
