ANGRY parents have hit out at education bosses and claimed they secured the downfall of their children’s school.
More than one hundred concerned parents packed out a meeting at Alderman Blaxill School, in Paxman Avenue, Colchester.
Many have children who will start at the secondary school but will have to take their GCSEs at other Colchester schools.
Organised by Essex County Council, the meeting was part of the third round of consultation into the eventual closure of the school set for August 2014.
