LIFEBOATS from Walton and Burnham were called out after reports of two people stranded on a fishing boat which had broken down.
Angling boat Northern Light was at anchor eight miles from the entrance to the river Crouch. The Walton lifeboat crew towed the boat to the mouth of the river before the Burnham crew continued to the Essex Marina on Wallasea Island.
The boat broke down at about 1.10pm on Friday, November 26.
