I’m extremely worried about our children’s health, village life, our dog walking areas and our beautiful landscapes as the Fingringhoe quarry works is planning to take more land.
A letter put through my door claims noise levels will increase and other pollution is to increase.
To top it all off, there is an increased danger to users of the playing field and play park, which is regularly used.
There is also the removal of trees and ancient hedgerows.
The quarry has already taken loads of land.
I like Fingringhoe for the quiet landscapes and soon it will not be the same.
I’m sure other villagers feel the same. We do not want to lose our village.
