A MOTORCYCLIST suffered leg injuries following a collision with a car in Colchester.
The man, who is in his 20s, was hurt after his bike was in collision with a black Renault car in Mersea Road, close to its junction with Napier Road.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said the Essex Air Ambulance, an ambulance and a paramedic car were called to the scene, at about 2.30pm.
The man was treated by paramedics at the scene and was taken to Colchester General Hospital for further treatment.
Essex County Council's traffic information centre said motorists were caught in delays as the road was closed in both directions.
