A FAMILy face a difficult Christmas after fire badly damaged their home.
The blaze broke out in the semi-detached house off Glebe Road, Tiptree, on Tuesday night.
The two adults and two children and pet dog all got out safely but the blaze caused a hole in the roof and smoke and water damage.
Four fire crews used breathing apparatus to bring it under control.
