THREE million pounds could be saved every year as Essex County Council looks to renegotiate its buildings contracts, but some jobs could be lost.
The council is hoping that by using just one or two outside suppliers for facilities and asset management they can negotiate better terms because of the size of the contracts.
The contracts include security, cleaning, rates, leases of council buildings and utilities.
