A NEW help point will provide information about dementia.
Colchester MP Bob Russell will open a Dementia Café on Monday at the Quaker Meeting House in Church Street.
The cafe will be a source for information and informal chat about the condition and will be run by North Essex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
It will be open on December 22 between 10am and noon and will re-open after the festive period on January 12 and every Wednesday morning thereafter.
Nurses and other health professionals will be on hand to provide information about dementia.
Anyone interested in finding out about dementia can drop-in for a cup of tea or coffee, pick up a leaflet and talk about the condition.
