Police investigating a serious attack on a takeaway delivery man have renewed their appeal for information.
The man, 42, from Colchester, was kicked, bitten, punched and stamped on by two men when delivering food on New Year’s Eve.
The attack took place between 7.30pm and 8pm in Foresight Road, Colchester.
The men were white, in their 20s and both wearing dark clothing.
One is 5ft 7in to 6ft, slim, with short, dark hair.
The other is medium built with short, brown hair.
Dc Brandon Savage said: “This was a particularly nasty assault and I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or may have information.”
