A GROUP of volunteers who turn Colchester shops into homes for the arts are celebrated their 25,000th visitor.
In less than two years, thousands have enjoyed art exhibitions, live music performances, dance classes, mini festivals and more at Slack Space’s empty units first in Long Wyre Street and later in Queen Street.
On Saturday afternoon at around 2pm, during a performance by The Medlars who opened the monthly Slack Folk event, Richard Brazear became the 25,000th visitor to walk through the doors.
