COLCHESTER fire crews were twice called out to tackle car blazes on Saturday night.
At around 7.50pm, one crew put out a fire in an abandoned Peugeot Estate outside Ardleigh Hall Squash Club on Dedham Road.
Then at 1.45am the following morning, they dealt with a fire which completely destroyed a car on Berechurch Hall Road, Colchester and spread to nearby fence panels and a shed.
Both blazes are being treated as suspicious.
