A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following a collision in West Bergholt.
A man in his 50s died after his red Suzuki Wagon was in collision with a silver Audi A4 close to Highfield Farm on the B1508 Colchester Road.
Emergency services, including police, ambulance and fire crews, were called to the scene at 5.17pm on Sunday.
The road was closed in both directions as Stanway Road Policing Unit investigated the collision.
The driver of the Audi, a 32-year-old man from the Colchester area was taken to hospital with minor injuries and released following treatment.
He was later arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving and has been bailed until April 4.
