A DRIVER is in a life-threatening condition after his car was left wrapped around a large sign post in Colchester.
The 25-year-old man, from the Colchester area, suffered serious injuries to his legs, arm and back during the crash, which happened in Westway at about 10pm on Wednesday.
A spokesman for Essex Police said the man is currently in Colchester General Hospital in a “critical life-threatening” condition after his blue Vauxhall Astra crashed into a street sign and lamp post.
