TWO people had to be cut out of their vehicles after a crash.
Firefighters from Colchester used specialist equipment to free the trapped casualties on the Avenue of Remembrance, Colchester, near Westway.
One person was cut from a van and another from a car.
Both were taken to hospital but details of their injuries are not known.
The accident happened at 6.30pm on Sunday and the road was shut while it was cleared.
