A solitary figure treated a small but captivated audience to a unique performance in the JJB Arena at this year's V Festival.
Imogen Heap, a 28-year-old who is originally from Essex, started nervously but soon got her alternative pop-rock and electronica set into full swing.
Heap, originally trained as a classical pianist, introduced the crowd to her band: a beat box and synthesizer.
During the atmospheric and ethereal set Heap treated the audience to her beautiful but piercing voice with the use of samples and harmonies to replicate and distort her own voice.
The appreciative audience chilled out to tracks such as Just for Now, Good Night and Go, Hide and Seek, Day Light Robbery, as well as forthcoming single Headlock.
