A DENTIST who was twice summoned before a watchdog and accused of shoddy work has insisted he is more than capable at his job.

Philip Burger was found guilty of professional misconduct but allowed to continue work without any limits after a General Dental Council panel concluded his mistakes would not be repeated.

The North Hill Dental Surgery dentist was previously accused of another of failings in 2008 in attempts to fit Denise Wright with crowns and bridgework.

Mr Burger, 62, said he wanted to put the hearings behind him and said he wanted to put the two complaints in the context of being a dentist for 36 years.
