I was interested to read the trouble businesses are having in Stanway with unfavourable comments being put online about them (Gazette, February 16).
This has happened to me, and trying to contact Google to rectify it is virtually impossible. The company is so big but almost anonymous when it comes to customer service.
I’ve yet to find a telephone number to contact a human being.
This practice relies on honesty, but any competitor can discredit a rival, and Google, which enables this practice, seem to be so powerful, it is not answerable to the rule of law.
