A DAY of clampdowns will take place in an area of Colchester next week.
The Safer Colchester Partnership will be tackling a number of issues including clearing up fly-tipping, tackling parking problems, undertaking a truancy sweep, and offering advice on drugs and alcohol awareness.
Wednesday's event will be supported by partners from Essex County Council, Essex Police and Colchester Borough Council as well as Hazelmere School and a large number of other members of the Safer Colchester Partnership.
