SHADOW cabinet minister Tessa Jowell will visit Colchester charities next month.
She will find out about the experiences and challenges facing the voluntary sector when she meets staff and volunteers at the Colchester Community Voluntary Service on March 10.
Chief executive officer Tracy Rudling said: “There is a vibrant community spirit in Colchester and this will be an excellent opportunity to take the message back to Ministers, that if funding was more robust we could be bigger and better with a future of sustainability.”
