A MAN has been charged with manslaughter after a Colchester-based paratrooper died in a street attack.
Private Rory McWilliams, 20, of Second Battalion, The Parachute Regiment, died in his home town of Northampton after the attack just days before he was due to fly out to fight in Afghanistan.
A 25-year-old man is due to appear before magistrates on Thursday.
