COLCHESTER is being discriminated against in favour of Chelmsford by County Hall, according to a local MP.
Colchester MP Bob Russell has accused Essex County Council of favouring the county town with Chelmsford set to get a second park-and-ride before Colchester has one.
Mr Russell said: “This is a clear commercial advantage to Chelmsford over Colchester.”
Ipswich has three park-and-rides.
There are plans for one in Colchester as part of the northern approach road project.
