May I express my thanks for the assistance given to me when I had a nasty fall in town.

I was in a bad way and, within the space of a few seconds, I had five people coming to my aid (three young ladies and two gentlemen).

Not only were they very kind, but they telephoned for an ambulance.

They found tissues and wads of paper towelling to stem the flow of blood pouring from a deep cut in my left eyebrow, and they found a stool for me as I was quite unsteady on my feet.

They stayed with me until the ambulance arrived.

Also, I would like to thank the ambulance crew and all the staff at A&E for looking after me.

I would also like to thank my daughter-in-law, Julie, for looking after me while I received medical attention at the hospital.
