PARATROOPERS are teaching Afghans how to spot Taleban bombs in a new life-saving education programme.
Soldiers from Colchester-based 3rd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment, are working with the Afghan National Army and members of the UK’s Counter-IED Task Force to run the lessons in the northern Nad-e Ali area of Helmand province.
Troops organised the workshops after a group of children playing on a road where injured in a recent explosion.
