A MAN has been jailed for life after a jury found he murdered a Clacton mother-of-five.
A jury at Chelmsford Crown Court today found Lee Thompson guilty of murdering Janet Graney in a bedroom of the Esplanade Hotel in Clacton.
Thompson, 44, formerly of Craigfield Avenue, Clacton was jailed for life and told he would serve a minimum of 15 years.
The prosecution had alleged Mrs Graney died after a "brutal and sustained attack" during which she was punched, strangled and smothered with a pillow.
