A MOTHER whose own son was stabbed to death in Greenstead has appealed for witnesses after another man was stabbed on the estate.
Ann Oakes-Odger lost her son Westley when he was killed in 2005.
She was shocked and horrified to find out a man had been stabbed in front of children playing on a field on a bank holiday and made an emotional plea for information.
A 20-year-old man from east London was attacked in Hickory Avenue in broad daylight opposite a playing field and playground and near to a junior school at midday on Friday, April 6.
He was stabbed in the stomach and leg after being robbed of a mobile phone and other possessions by two black men.
Officers are appealing for information from anyone who may have seen the attack or where the suspects went afterwards.
Police are searching for two black men.
