A FINANCIAL analyst from Colchester is preparing to run two marathons in as many weeks - with one already in the bag and three more planned this year.
Sean Lawlor, 42, is running the Paris marathon on Saturday, before pounding the streets of London the following weekend.
The Shrub End resident has already completed the Barcelona event at the end of March, and is also taking on marathons in Berlin, New York and Dublin this year.
Sean, of Catherine Hunt Way, is running each event on behalf of Medics, a Saffron Walden-based charity which sends out accident and emergency doctors to incidents like road crashes around the county.
“I am really into my running and have been for 20 years - I’ve got no idea how many miles I’ve done in events,” he said.
“My mother wonders why I do it, but it’s the addiction to the buzz."
