Armed police search Lexden after reports of knife man
ARMED police searched the London Road area of Colchester following reports of a man with a knife.
Essex Police were called shortly before 3pm on Friday with reports of the man outside the Royal Mail delivery office.
The police helicopter was also called in to help with the search.
Officers searched past 5.30pm but found no trace of the man.
