STAFF and customers at a busy town centre store have raised more than £4,000 for charity.
Over the past year shoppers and employees at Williams & Griffin in Colchester High Street have donated time and money to St Helena Hospice.
Fundraising events included a large animated window unveiled by Father Christmas.
A cheque for £4,143.48 was presented to the hospice on Friday.
Rachael Gordon, marketing manager at Williams & Griffin said: “The charity is close to many people’s hearts and W&G are very proud to have helped so many people and their families who use the Hospice now and who may do in the future.”
Kate Alden, events and community manager at St Helena Hospice, said: “I would like to thank all the staff and customers of W&G for supporting us during the last year.”
