BURGLARS stole more than a hundred pound in cash by 'popping' open a house's uPVC door.
The theft occurred in Neasden Avenue, Clacton between 10pm on Wednesday, April 11, and 7am the next day.
A purse containing a three figure sum of cash was taken.
The purse was later found in a nearby drain, however the money was missing.
Police believe the burglars entered the home by ‘popping’ the uPVC door and have urged residents to make sure they double lock their doors at all times.
