Leave Greenstead alone.
The saying goes, don’t knock it till you’ve tried it.
I suspect the people who moan about this estate, and what is supposedly happening here, are on a much different wavelength than the majority of residents here.
I have lived here several years now, and there is no way I want to leave.
I would really miss the sense of community, the really friendly people and being involved in lots of things to do with my community.
So, come on you doubting Thomases, get out there and join us. See for yourself. A smile, a friendly hello and you’re in. Easy.
There are problems everywhere in the country. I lived in another county before arriving and living on Greenstead.
I love it here – lovely surroundings, good bus services, so many opportunities to be involved and, of course, it’s clean and green – and most of all the sense of community is second to none.
So, come on, be brave and step into our community and be part of it.
I am of the older generation and I love it here. Don’t knock us till you know us.
