LUCKY Harry Byford helped Arsenal in their final push for a top four Premier League spot when he appeared as mascot against rivals Manchester City.
Junior Gunner Harry, ten, from Burlington Road, Colchester was randomly chosen to run out with the team before their crucial 1-0 win over City on Sunday, April 8.
The football mad youngster also got to meet the entire Arsenal team and get their autographs, including defender Thomas Vermaelen, pictured.
“It was just brilliant to have been chosen, especially to see us win such a big match. I had a really great day,” Harry said.
Captain Vermaelen, pictured with Harry shortly before kick-off, added: “It was great to meet Harry at Emirates Stadium ahead of our game with Man City.
“I hope he enjoyed the experience and the terrific win, and will remember the day for a long time to come.”
Sue Campbell, manager of the Junior Gunners, added: “We were delighted to offer Harry the chance to be our mascot for the game with Man City.”
