COLCHESTER photographers are being encouraged to take part in a project to celebrate High Woods Country Park.
The competition is part of the park’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
Funded by Marks and Spencer and the @myurbangreen campaign, it is part of the Groundwork East of England project.
Sian Meech, environmental advisor at Groundwork East of England, said: “Colchester residents now have the chance to learn more about this fantastic country park site as well as letting their creative juices flow.
“The competition is a great way to encourage people of all ages to pick up a camera and show us what Colchester's green spaces mean to them.”
To enter, photographs should be sent to highwoodsatmyurbangreen@groundwork.org.uk. The deadline is Wednesday, August 1.
Winners will be announced at the High Woods Country Park's 25th anniversary event on Sunday, September 23.
